Full-Featured Automatic Thickness Tester and Caliper Gages for Film and Paper

In the past, film and paper producers and converters have had the choice of caliper gages which were either value-priced thickness-only machines, or expensive computer-operated machines. Now you can have the best of both worlds in a single instrument. Qualitest offers the MX Series, a simple to use stand-alone or computer operated tester, with optional Quality Control software for automatic calculation and graphical display of thickness profiles, statistics, and other information.

Three modes of operation: Operate as a stand-alone, touch screen system, or Operate in Digital/Software mode using either a Non-Statistical Ticket Printer, or with 3rd Party Statistical Quality Control Software to display profile graphics and calculate data statistics. Includes digital push-button Zero operation.

Large 7 inch Touch Panel Display Offering Discrete Point Testing, Push-Button Zero, and On-Board Statistics

The MX-1100 offers discrete point testing with the measurement head automatically cycling up and down for point-to-point testing. Statistics can be displayed on the touch panel display including: High, Low, Average, Standard Deviation, Sample Count, plus Linear Profiles (below left) and Polar Profiles.

Expandable; Industry-Leading Software

Portable and expandable with optional software (below right), ticket printers, statistical ticket printers, and computer systems. A ticket printer or computer is required for operation in the Digital/Software mode. Windows 7 or 10-based advanced software for display/hard-copy reporting of statistical and graphical analysis of thickness data including high, low, average, standard deviation, and data count values.
