Ultrasonic 2D Material Stripper Ultrasonicator – QualiUltra™ 2D Series
Ultrasonicator performance matters when producing consistent 2D materials at scale. QualiUltra™ 2D Series is an ultrasonic 2D material stripper designed to exfoliate layered materials while helping preserve crystal morphology and lattice structure. It combines ultrasonic energy with enhanced stirring to create more uniform stress distribution during exfoliation. Operators can set ultrasonic time, power, and tank temperature through a centralized controller with on-board data storage.
QualiUltra™ 2D Series is suited for material science labs that need repeatable graphene and 2D compound preparation without constant manual tuning. The platform uses a large LCD and a human-machine interface for real-time monitoring and parameter control. Safety functions support protected operation during longer runs, which helps when experiments require sustained processing. Two power configurations are available to match different throughput targets.
QualiUltra™ 2D Series integrates ultrasonic cavitation with magnetic stirring inside a hexagonal reactor tank. Ultrasonic mixing and stirring work together to improve dispersion uniformity and promote controlled exfoliation. Power and timing are software-controlled, and temperature monitoring is shown on the LCD during processing. A water recirculation inlet/outlet supports heat management for sensitive materials and longer duty cycles.
This system has been tested on common 2D material feedstocks such as bulk graphite, MoS₂, WS₂, and hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN). The design intent is gentle, repeatable exfoliation that maintains structural integrity while improving yield and consistency. It also supports flexible labware placement, accommodating beakers or flasks up to 1.5 L inside the tank.
