Bunched Cable Vertical Flame Spread Tester QualiFlame-BCVFST
Bunched Cable Vertical Flame Spread Tester QualiFlame-BCVFST evaluates how flames spread vertically across grouped cables arranged on a ladder, providing insight into their fire resistance.

Burning Behavior of Bunched Cables
- The stainless steel test chamber has inner dimensions of 1000mm × 2000mm × 4000mm. The chamber walls are lined with 65mm of mineral wool for thermal insulation.
- The bottom of the chamber is elevated above the ground, featuring an 800mm × 400mm air inlet positioned 150mm from the front wall, with a grill placed above.
- A 300mm × 1000mm exhaust opening at the top allows for gas removal during testing.
- A high-temperature resistant observation window is installed on the front door and side panel for monitoring during testing.
- Equipped with OMEGA K-type insulated thermocouples for measuring chamber temperature.
- The chamber air supply system consists of a blower, inverter, stainless steel U-shaped tube, and an anemometer.
- Constructed with a stainless steel tubular ladder, available in 500mm and 800mm widths.
- Includes an AGF ribbon-type propane gas burner with a venturi mixer.
- Two propane and air mass flow controllers ensure a standard burning flame with an accuracy of ±1%
