A rubber splitting machine cuts rubber, polyurethane, and other elastomers into flat layers of a set thickness. A horizontal band knife does the cutting while feed rollers drive the material into the edge. Labs use it to prepare test pieces from finished products under ASTM D3183 and ISO 23529. Converters use it to calibrate sheet stock before die cutting.

It suits compounds from 30 to 75 Shore A and offers three feed speeds, so QC and R&D labs can repeat a target thickness sample after sample.

High Capacity Rubber Splitting Machine (QualiRSM™ 520)

A production-grade splitter for polyurethane, rubber, plastic, and elastomer sheet up to 520 mm wide and 60 mm thick. It splits down to 0.2 mm within a 0.1 mm cutting tolerance, with separate digital displays for upper and lower layer thickness. Automatic knife wear compensation and a 1 to 20 m/min inverter feed keep long runs consistent.
